I was browsing facebook and saw an ad linking here: http://www.2012contact.com
There's a lot of writing so I just had a skim through. The person's written stuff that's been said about the 2012 theory. Then I get to the bottom and find out they're selling a survival guide book for $47. Hmm, what do you guys think? I really don't like this talk about 2012, sometimes I doubt it, sometimes I don't. Then more and more is being said about it.

I like how the book's main aim is to prove that, in 2010, "something will happen"...
Something's happening tomorrow, like something happened today... The world isn't going to end in 2012 any more than it did in any of the dozens of predictions so far.

Is the book not a fiction novel, with Chris and Ted as the characters?

Also, it keeps repeating throughout the novel that everyone's going to die... but buying the book will stop that? If it's got such good information.. why aren't we all following it word-for-word?

I love the testimonials for these things:

"I’m a firm believer that in 2012, something will happen. I’ve been searching for about 8 months now, and the best I found was a bunch of crazy theories about aliens coming in 2012 and invading us.
Then I came across this site. I bit the bullet, and bought “2012 Contact”.
All I can say is that this guide will probably save my life.
I learned more from these books in the first 30 pages than I did in the past 9 months of research."

Yeah, still doesn't mean you aren't an idiot, Jessica Landers from Benson, Arizona.

    "Every Major Source of
    Knowledge, From Einstein to
    NASA to Worldwide Religions…
    They ALL AGREE THAT…

In 2012, something huge will happen.”
I like the fact they quoted a dead man, a space-exploration agency and religious organisations as "Major Sources of Knowledge". Because those are the people I consult when wondering about unbased theories.

Well, I hope 2012 doomsday is not real. If it is, there's not much point working to go to uni, I would never finish my degree .

The people who think that doomsday will occur in 2012 are clinically insane. If they buy this tat - it's further proof that some people just shouldn't have children. Ever.
