I'm a first year undergraduate and I've done summer volunteer work but never paid work.
Preferably, I'd be looking for some kind of administrator/data entry job for a three month period during the summer but I'm very flexible with the type of job.
The directgov website lists a lot of jobs but they all seem to advertise immediate work and I don't think I'd be able to schedule work for a certain period. I haven't found a website which cators for someone in my position.
Am I looking for a job too early/too late? Does anyone have any other advice?

You can try applying online jobs. They don't care most about your job history. What matters to do them is you're a computer literate.
