This is under Unit 4 for Edexcel Chemistry

    Question (b)

Am I going wrong somewhere? I don't have the answers with me atm and 0.9K sounds really low so I have a feeling it's not right

A slightly neater method would be to quote the Gibbs Free Energy Equation and reaarange that.

    \Delta G = \Delta H - T\Delta S

Remembering \Delta G \leq 0 for the reaction to proceed.

I don't think that Gibbs thing is in our syllabus anymore? It's not listed in the syllabus..

Our lecturer mentioned it too, though (but later said that we didn't have to know about it).

--Aside from the fact that my working is messy is it alright that I got 908K? :p:

    No idea, I'm at Uni

I know it was in the AQA syllabus.. If you havn't done it then you can assume it isn't in your syllabus.
