I've suffered with depression and social anxiety symptoms for around 2 years now. I have finally managed to find some therapy and I am in the mind set now where I am fed up of it and really want to try and get myself back.
However, everytime I manage to bring myself to arrange to go out or try and organise something people seem to let me down, and its just another kick in the face driving you further into a spiral.
It keeps getting to the stage where I feel I have nothing to get out of bed for.
I just wondered if anyone had any tips or strategies that help them keep driving away and not get sucked back down?

I always find it helpful to just take one step at a time. Focus on the smaller steps rather than the whole picture, which can be very overwhelming.
