Ive recently been given a case study which I need to do a bail application for

The case study is a man being charged with Indecent Assault on a 14 year old girl, they've also included a letter from the girls parents suggesting they meet up to discuss whther its true or not and ifthey find its true he'll not get off free even if the court finds him not guilty.

I'm just unsure what to write about this letter in my application, it's obviously been put there for a reason

    Any help is much appreciated!

I would imagine that one of the bail conditions would be set out so that contact between the concerned parties is forbidden.

Also, it would be likely that the Defendant is remanded in custody for his own protection, as there is a threat of violence against him.

The letter constitutes a veiled threat that the Defendant has been judged to be guilty by the girl's parents before a jury has decided. They have stated that vigilante justice would be carried out.

    Hope that helps!
