    I have this poem which I'm supposed to analyze. I analyzed the meaning of the poem, symbols, metaphors and all that. What I'm wondering is what there is to write about the rythm.

    The poem follows an ABBA rhyme pattern where the lines that rhyme have the same amount of syllables. What can you write about this because the only thing I've come upp with is that it gives the poem a good "flow"? :erm:

    Can you post the poem so we can have a look at it? Or give us the title?

    Also, it's spelt "rhythm" :cool:, silly way of spelling it I agree, but it comes from Greek and so it looks less odd in the original Greek.
