To pay for living costs i will be taking out a maintenance loan (parents arnt paying). The maintence loan totalls: 3563 per year.

I calculated thats 297 per month. I will be getting a flat share/house share.

But flat share house share per month are: 350 per month.

Thtas all the maintenance money gone and it hasnt even covered books or equipment.

My course will require a lot of time and study so i may not be able to get a job.

Are any of you living off just the loan or do you have jobs. have i got the flat share amount wrong?

Surely you'll be able to get a larger loan?
If not have you checked if you're eligible for a maintenance grant?
Anyway I'm sure if you manage your time carefully you'll be able to find a way to both work for your studies and get a job.
