CGP are awful, much prefer Letts, even if they are more expensive.

CGP is definitely better than Letts

CGP is HORRIBLE for A-level maths. I bought a book and it was so unintuitive I basically threw my money down the toilet. I don't know the Letts books well but I'd recommend Heinemann/Longman.

It depends on how you learn but the CGP text books do my head in!! They might be quite good for a fairly visual learner (?) - i prefer ones like the letts which seem a lot clearer and less 'busy' though.

Go into Smiths or somewhere and see which one you'd prefer to revise from... I'd imagine the content is pretty much the same...

Personally I used www.mathsrevision.net, my Heinemann textbooks, and my friend's notes.

I utterly hate CGP, Letts definitely.
