when i take my shirt off my body looks normal (im 5"8 btw), but when i actually wear clothes i look short and round for some reason. i've tried losing weight but gave up after 5 days after realising that i was actually slightly underweight.

so here's the deal. im skinny, but i look chubby, so all i need to do is tone up i think. would doing 30 press ups, 60 sit ups and pumping some weights for a while help solve my problem?

    thanks

after about 5 weeks this should work.. need to focus on one aspect at a time really, i.e. core muscles then weights for arms afterwards sort of thing

Ignore the guy above me, first off.

Doing millions of pressups and situps won't help anything but muscular endurance.

Get a gym membership, and start a plan like Starting Strength: http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wi..._Strength_Wiki

Eat plenty too and you'll soon put on muscle.

if you look chubby in your clothes, the chances are you aren't dressing to suit your shape

Pissing about with pushups and crunches is going to do very little for you. Stay at home, keep doing what you're doing, keep eating what you're eating and stay fat, or get on a decent routine (eg; Starting Strength), clean up your diet and see a huge difference.

Sometimes you've got to make a sacrifice.

If you want a better body you need to take it seriously, people that look good didn't get there by doing a few silly exercises at home. If you're not willing to do that then you'll have to get used to being the way you are.
