What would you do if you didn't like the sound of your friend's boyfriend, but she was planning on moving half way around the world to be with him?

Would you voice your concerns or just let her go and hope it turns out for the best?

I hate the thought of saying something about someone I've never met, but I just want her to really think about what she's doing. Any ideas about what I could say? I don't want her to think I'm attacking her or putting him down!

I would tell them, it takes a good friend to tell someone they are doing something wrong.

Just explain to her why you don't like him and why?

If you put someones partner down, they will automatically start defending them. You should voice your concerns as part of a friendly and well balanced decision about her life changing as a whole, it is completly fair to tell her how you feel.

I have spoken to one of her other friends (I know her but we're not exactly close) about it all and she seems to share all of the same concerns as me. She wants to talk to her about it together but I'm not entirely sure that is the best approach.

I mean, it gives the advantage of her knowing that it's not just me who's worried but do you think this will come across a bit too forceful?
