    Hi all,
Over christmas my mum and i had a massive argument and i have been kicked out of the house with no where to go to when i finish uni for the summer. I will probably sleep on my friends floors until i can go back to uni.
So my dilemma is this, how do i sort student finance, as i would need proof of household income, when i dont really have a permanent residence. Would i be able to do it on my own? If so, how?

    thanks

The way i would do it is speak to the university and get them to help, the finance lot are hopeless as you probably know getting the amount of money and adress correct is a true achievement (I hope there reading that bit). Asking for the help you need will terrify the life out of them. Hope everything gets sorted for you.

I agree, speak to the uni. They all have a hardship/access to learning fund for situations like this!

is there no way you can resolve it with your Mum?

you may have to eat a ridiculous amount of humble pie, but im sure she would want you guys to make up.

at the end of the day she is your Mum, and i doubt she really wants you to stay kicked out, but as youre the one without a home right now, im afraid it will be up to you to extend the olive branch to her, especially if she was upset about whatever caused the row.

it has to be worth a try, and a lot less hassle than trying to fund your next year without a home address/
