The last three years I've been single for em and the three before that were with my now ex.. things are looking up for this year's though.. at which point I'll no doubt complain about not being able to think of anything to do and about doing anything costing mega bucks...

I'm probably going to be alone, a lot of people say they don't care, a lot of people are with others, but some people would just like to be with someone. It's just depresing to be reminded that you're alone ^^

Celebrate this instead. I sent my best mate a happy SAD (oh how ironic :facepalm2: ) text last Valentine's day since he'd broken up with someone just before the day.

You guys want to know why valentine's day is rubbish for teenagers? Because things cost money and students don't have money.

It's not only singles who moan about the day, teenage couples moan about what to do! Because you're all sheep to massive consumer consumption.

you'd have to be either a very very funny person or a massive square to buy your other half roses. :p:
    what's wrong with roses?!

If you want a date, go out and meet some people, it really is quite easy.

The thing that I found is the years I'm single, it's just like any other day. The years I've been with someone it's been amazing. But I just ignore it if I don't have anyone.

I know that Valentine's Day is just a way for Clintons to make more money!!! but it is like the main day that separates the singles from the couples, so you're not wierd at all for feeling like that. Do something with your friends instead and enjoy being single!

think about it: valentine's day is really an excuse for rampant commercialism, deluding people to buy expensive dinners, etc. do be concerned for your boyfriends, still studying in university.

I'm usually always single...I think there's only been one year where I wasn't.

Can't say it bothers me; I'm happy for the couples, I like the idea of Valentines. :yep:

I'll be single too. I don't care though, I can't be bothered with Valentines myself. I'm happy being single (for now at least). I certainly won't be getting depressed about it anyway

Bored of it tbh. I don't need a stereotypical excuse to 'express my love' to my bf. I like to do that more then once a year.

I've been with someone for 8 out of my 20 valentines days though that's mostly owed to being with one boy from age 5-10 lol, we even bought each other cards and small gifts every year
