You should love your parents and siblings equally! How... I do it by doing small acts of kindness, such as getting up to give them the TV remote so they don't have to

I guess *No* should go with the first option.Being shy means you can't so *No*

    This.

    I can't show it, but I'm sure I do/they know I do.

I'm not shy, I just wasn't brought up in that kind of family.

I love my father very much, and I tell him so.

I hate my mother. I'll never be able to forgive her for what she did to me and I can't wait until I never have anything to do with her again.

I have never said to my parents that I love them... Is that weird?! I find it EXTREMELY hard to say (I generally find it extremely hard to say anything nice to anyone...but I definitely have no trouble expressing hatred)

    I'm an awful person... :emo:

I tell my parents I love them, give him hugs and kisses, no problem.

My kids tell me and my husband that they love me, and that they love each other. We have cuddles and kisses several times a day. We're a huggy family. Just the way I like it.

If my kids ever felt that they couldn't tell me they love me I'd be gutted.

My husband on the other hand, and his mother, they're not like that at all. They never hug, or kiss, or tell each other that they love each other. Same for my husband's siblings.
I remember about 3 years ago my husband decided he wanted to tell his mam that he loved her, and he literally had to work himself up for WEEKS into saying it to her, he was so nervous. He felt like she was going to tell him to shut up or something. Anyway he said it, and surprised her, and she said it back and they had a brief hug.
    Never happened since though.
    I find it so bizarre.

I can when doing things like buying presents, but verbally? No. Even at my age I'm still ludicrously shy and embarrased to say things like "I Love You", even to family.

Say it all the time, normally to my dad though. Less so to my mum, esp. when she wakes me up early to go to Sunday mass - ie this morning :nothing:
