I was just wondering what your rough estimates of entrance requirements (IB-wise) would be for HKU's BA Programme? I'm hoping to major either in Philosophy or possibly even Spanish, having had experience in both subjects, doing HL Philosophy and having taken GCSE Spanish. If it counts for anything, all my HL subjects are arts/humanities based (English A1, Film studies and Philosophy). I know the HKU website states a 24 IB points with a 4 in HL/SL English as their requirement, but thats the absolute minimum and thus I'm guessing to really stand a chance, it would be substantially higher than that.

never 24... as far as I know... hku requires disproportionately high IB marks to get in, but thats natural considering the competitiveness and difficulties of the local A-levels exams there. I do the BScience degree there, and they need a 35/36... so I suppose pretty much the same for BA, perhaps maybe a point lower?

you need 30 ib points to get into HKU BA. that was the conditional offer for last year.
