Table tennis is *cool*

Basically, about an hour ago, I came back from the Table Tennis Masters held in East Croydon. Long(ish) story, but the tickets were free, and it featured the top 10 players in the world (including the current Olympic champion, and current European champion, among other household names)! So I just *had* to go.

Was a great day out. I managed to catch a ball that flew high into the crowd, and I threw it back to the legend that is Jan-Ove Waldner =') (he was a crowd favourite throughout the night- the guy who was pissed sitting behind me was in full voice for Mr Waldner).
Oh, and I saw Timo Boll in the street (German dude- was knocked out in the quarters). But I was kinda speechless, and failed to say anything to him as he walked past :|

Anyway, Grandstand tomorrow on one of the BBCs. The table tennis is on at 1630. So, watch it, cos it's *cool*.

I know =3
He weren't playing btw. Just organising, and stuff. There was some British guy there though- Alan Cooke. He looked kinda gay, but he played alright actually. And managed to get a set off Waldner =o
But Waldner was playing some crazy defence- and in his last match (against the Olympic champion), he knew he was gonna lose, so he did some exhibition shots, and in the middle of the rally, he jumped over the barriers and lobbed the ball back from outside the court ='o

Good sht.

Yes is! *Nods madly*
I can't do that, I always end up hitting the other person in the eye. Which reminds me, I was playing pool once, and hit the white ball into someones stomach. I'm much better at it now though
Table tennis is such a good reaction sport - and you can play all sorts of tricky shots that look amazing. That's why I like it anyway.

Right! I'm gonna look out for me on TV =0
i love table tennis, ping pong! played it a lot on a cruise, nearly got the ball in the sea though and with the boat bobbing around it led to the table sliding around a bit.
I live in East Croydon.

And table tennis is very cool!

(Was it in Fairfield?)

Yes! Fairfield Halls.

During the intermissions I was in McDonalds, Starbucks, Somerfield and Burger King (the one in the station area). Also, I was in awe of the wonderful trams! Woo!

I did see me, but you wouldn't have seen me, for sure.
Basically, I didn't really see me properly, but since I knew where I was sitting (obviously), I was looking out for me. The camera kinda rotated through our area (we were in one of the balcony seats) and I noticed me and my mate (who was in front wearing a Man Utd top).

Looking back on it, Waldner is such a legend! =')
