So, I'm apparently hugely unorganised and have just started preparing for an interview I have at Plymouth tomorrow. I received an e-mail from Plymouth giving me a date for interview and replied to that confirming my attendance. However, that is all I've heard from the university and all the others I've applied for have sent me an interview pack with instructions for how the interview will be structured and how I need to prepare.

All Plymouth have asked is that I bring a form of photo identity and photocopies of exam certificates. Basically, what I'm asking is if anyone else has/ has had an interview for Plymouth and what kind of information they received prior to it.

If anyone replies I'll be really grateful, as I'm beginning to panic and mentally kicking myself for leaving things this late.

    Hi,
You should have been sent a reading task for your interview, sorry to worry you! What's your specialism? If I can help, I will!

I applied for English but was sent an e-mail about Humanities- which initially didn't worry me because I've heard quite a bit about universitys changing your specialism to something they feel you're more suited to.

Though now with all the other mix-ups with my interview I'm concerned that that was a genuine mistake as well. The plan so far is to head to Plymouth tomorrow and ring on the way to try and speak to someone.

Just kicking myself really, as I'm not usually one to leave things to the last minute, I've just had certain things going on that have distracted me.

Ringing them is probably the best bet. They've sent out written peices that they want you to read and discuss in the Group Interview, plus a list of related reading. They may be lenient if you explain the mix up?

Do you know what the interview process is like? For most of my other interviews we had to do a presentation.

Yeah, I'll ring them first thing tomorrow and see what they suggest I do. Possibly beg for another date.

    Thanks for your help!

I think it's something like document checking, followed by literacy and numeracy tests, then group interviews which involve discussing the reading task. It doesn't say anything on there about one to one intervoews which I was surprised about!
