    did decolonisation occur primarily as a consequence of 1945? i need some for and against answers i would appreciate any help im soo stuck

    Don't know much about this, but would have thought the fors for this argument are pretty obvious (weakened state of Europe after war, the loss of French colonies after its occupation etc). As for againsts, you could perhaps talk about the LoN's mandates commission and the weakening hold on colonies after WW1...
