Hey gays, how are we all today?

I had a fun time at the party last night, and ended up not sleeping at all (a few of us just chatted in the kitchen for the whole night). Then I went home, and slept the whole day.

Just lost my moot. Really annoyed, I thought I actually had a chance. Time to eat my own body weight in chocolate...

I'd like to say that I know what that means but I don't. :console: anyway.

It's a mock trial effectively. Not exactly but that's the best way to describe it. Basically arguing over a point of law in front of a judge.

He bought us a round afterwards though, so he wasn't so bad. Vodka soothes all problems.

Yeah, having an enormously rich barrister presiding over the moot has its benefits.

Just watched Have I Got News for You, with John Prescott chairing. He got somewhat ripped apart; it's on iPlayer.

Now a bit bored, and unsure what to do.

Yeah, he really wasn't very good. It wasn't a very good episode though, when a GMTV presenter is the best there, you know you're in trouble. It was good last week though, with Ross Noble.

The script they gave Prescott was a bit naff, but when he was actually arguing it was fairly amusing. Poor Merton didn't get a word in edgeways for the first half.

The one with Bruce Forsythe was surprisingly amusing.

It was painfully obvious how scripted most of his jokes were. His exchanges with Ian Hislop were good though :yep:

Badly scripted comedy is always a little painful. The current continuity announcer on Radio 7's Comedy Club is this random american, but they're giving him the same lines they gave the previous guy, and it doesn't work with him at all.
