What is it with everyone going to Greece(I'm not complaining, I'm just jealous)? I now know at least 30 people(yes I just counted) who are going there!
Enjoy yourself! Everyone I know is loving it.
I keep feeling guilty about calling it a trip to Greece, because that suggests it's going to be in some way cultural or intelligent. It's going to be just a big piss-up, I think. Hopefully will be good, though.

    Gay lad :yep:
Sadly, I have the feeling I'm going to be the only gay on the island, lad or not. I have my extremely loud pink union flag towel, though, so hopefully if there are any others they will find me. :p:

Can i ask when you found out that u were gay , did you go to gay bars and clubs on your own? if not how did u make gay friends?
I gradually realised that when I thought of sex, it was about guys, and eventually figured that 'gay' is the best label for me. I don't have many gay friends in real life, but the people I know are mostly through online group meets (GYUK and QYN). I haven't been properly gay clubbing/barring yet, since I don't have anyone to go with usually.

Have fun in Zante, and good luck with your re-application then!
    Thank you!

Well, that's about as good as carrying around a rainbow flag, so if there are any, I'm sure they will find you.

Hey mate, we've all been through the oh no what do I do with my life?!? Some with better resolution than others.

Firstly what subjects do you like? Like the ones you genuinely enjoy - e.g. some people genuinely enjoy maths, love it find it easy. Others love history and prefer essays etc.

Secondly, do you have any inkling of what you want to do in the future - or at least what you do NOT want to do? Also factor in lifestyle/working hours.
Even if it only boils down to engineering there's so much variety in what you could end up doing - could be very office based, could be very much out and practical, could just use it as a degree and do something completely different?

You sorta have to go through a checklist and funnel things out.
Well I love the mechanics in physics the best, and all the electrical stuff doesn't interest me that much(so I know that I don't want to do electrical). And then I love Bio and wish I could do something with it.... That's one of Imperial's weaknesses, not letting you specialise later on like Oxbridge and US unis do.
Thanks on the advice, those are the things that I am considering(such as lifestyle; I want my weekends free, unless I get to be in charge of something I'm really passionate about.)

I'm gonna ask to switch to aeronautical engineering. Haven't yet emailed the undergraduate admissions tutor for aero eng though.

I'm kinda nervous now, because my further maths a-level went badly  :emo:. Don't really know what to do. I don't get my results until late august

Oh, and well done on your IB performance. :woo:
    Thanks
I was just talking to a friend of mine who was expecting a 5 in math and got a 7, so don't predict your grade on impressions.

Ok I've emailed them, all that I need to do now is hope that all works out...

I LOVE German girls, my first encounters were all German, and I find the culture so much more accepting and friendly (contrary to popular belief).
Now if you're talking own country then yes haha - there are some nice English people, but basically 99% of my experience if with chinese lasses Can't get enough haha.

And yes DEUTSCHLAND! (Especially as I have money on them winning, that octopus better be wrong).
Yes, that octopus better be WRONG! :hmmm: (btw, he was wrong in the European Cup in 2008. The Germany vs Spain match, to be precise. He picked Germany to win, but then Spain eventually won. So maybe he's doing a false prediction again. )

I can't tell about the culture as I haven't been living in the UK yet, but I guess it also depends on the cities. Were you in Berlin? Seems like people up there are very open-minded. People here in Frankfurt... nah, I don't know. I mean, I love my home city, yes!! But here are a lot of arrogant, stuck up and fake people. And it's a very conservative part of Germany. And a very business orientated city (Frankfurt has a lot of banks, for example).
And perhaps, just perhaps.. I'm a little fed up that I can't sweet talk to any girls here in English. :p:

Oh, and I love Asian girls!! Qi Shu, for example. Oh my good. :sogood:

Edit: I'm not sick of it yet. :p: It's only been four or five people so far. haha

Bloody hell. Wowzers. I've just googled her, she can come and kick my ass any day! I have a riduculously harsh rating system, so I'm told, but she is by far at least a 9!
So have you ever voted a girl a 10?

Lol I asked her who that was too ! She's probably sick of it, should probably put the name in the signature.

Even though she's not, she's very similar to the hot girls I always seem to end up liking that turn out to be lesbians.

Good for you though haha x
lol yep, good for me! Actually, she looks rather like my girlfriend, who is pretty damn stunning, lucky me :woo:

Well, having someone like that to look at - people are going to ask! She's incredibly good looking

Ah I've gonna send my email off later on today. Well if we don't get a place in the aero eng course, we can always start next year. Just have to get through a year of studying what we originally applied for I guess.

But I hope we can both get in this year. :lovehug:

Yep. My girlfriend  (honestly, she IS as stunning as I make out. She got eyed/chatted up about 25 times when we went out last week  ) and Angelina Jolie :yep:

That's it though. Even the delectable Cheryl Cole only pulled in a 9.5 and I adore her! Mostly the women I like hit about a 7. I'm pretty harsh, but it's worth it lol

Hey, it would have been very uncomfortable if the woman in your sig was you lol

Aaawww! If she is that stunning, I'd probably chatted her up as well tbh. :p:
    I'd give Jessica Alba a solid 9/10!

Why would that be uncomfortable? :p: But nah, I don't look anything like her!! lol But my hair is finally getting a little longer now. :awesome:

    Yo my gayers.

I am considering starting a blog. That's right, I'm going to do something rather than complain about being bored all the time. It will be a satirical news website, Onion-esque. However, before I do actually start one, I want it vetted. If my first article is crap I'll shelve the idea and think of something else :p:

    Here it is:

    Spoiler:
    Show

North Korea’s Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il has today declared that he will personally be taking a place in his nation's football team in their next bid for FIFA World Cup stardom.

The team's poor showing this year angered the 66-year old dictator of the most secretive state in the world, and according to a source close to him ‘[he] spent literally days sulking in the palatial gardens. Aides couldn’t even tempt him to use his favourite waterslide - we were all very worried.’.

The shock decision for him to play as part of the team has been officially lauded as a fantastic tactical move - Kim Jong-nam, Jong-Il's eldest son and widely believed to be the person to eventually succeed Jong-Il, told the world through his Youtube account that he '[couldn't] wait to see [his] Father show the Johnny-foreigners what-for'.

The abysmal showing in the 2010 World Cup competition, which left the North Korea team with a goal difference of -11 in the groups stage, is just the latest in a series of disappointments in Jong-Il's life: Recently voted the world's ugliest building, the Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang was rumoured to be the brainchild of Jong-Il himself – and he was said to be 'inconsolable' when construction was cancelled in 1992 because the country could no longer afford to finance the project; and the Supreme Commander's personal plan for ending North Korea's starvation by breeding giant rabbits was welcomed by official advisors, but quietly put on the back-burners without Jong-Il's knowledge. The largest rabbit produced to date in North Korea weighs just 12 pounds.

A mixed reaction has been shown across the world to Jong-Il's announcement. Colonel Gadaffi of Libya's official spokesperson said to the press 'The Brotherly Leader and Guide of the Revolution of Libya is delighted with the move and is considering entering himself as a player in the Libyan national Football team for the 2014 World Cup in response'. However, President Obama of the United States of America said he 'wish[ed] [Kim Jong-Il] would reconsider – [Kim Jong-Il] is dear to us all and none of us wish to see him get hurt.'

It is expected that Jong-Il will play as a midfielder.

FIFA has made no comment as yet.

EDIT: And cya DBMag... Tomorrow?
