Someone I know in real life found me on here before. He knew I was gay for about 3 months and apart from asking someone else 'Do you know anything about James' love life?', he was completely silent about it. A nice surprise.
And yet, you still admit no photos of your lovely mug on Facebook. A loss to us all.

Anyone who knows me but isn't related to me knows that I'm gay, basically. But since I have (gossipy) cousins on facebook, I'm not "out on facebook". I'm not listed as anything - no interested in, no relationship status. Much easier that way!
Ah, but everyone knows having no "Interested in" is code for "I like the ****". :p:

Much easier just being out to all and sundry. :yep:

See, I thought so too, but I made the tragic mistake of chatting up a guy who, I later realised, merely forgot to put it back on "women" after he was in a long relationship. Rubbish.

So he took off "Interested in" while he was in a relationship? What was it, with a rock or something? :p:

Ha! If that's new slang for "jealous girlfriend", then probably, yes.

The IT Crowd is glorious. Katherine Parkinson is awesome.

Neil Patrick Harris was Dr. Horrible, if you've seen that. On a Joss Whedon related note, Alyson Hannigan is absolutely fantastic in HIMYM. Started watching it again when I ran out of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
You are clearly my TV soulmate btw.

    In other news, tapas :coma:

OMG Firefly. Do it. Do it now. Why aren't you watching it right now? Go go go go go. Go!
Because I'm waiting to go round to my partner's to watch with him, because he hadn't seen it, and had convinced himself he wouldn't like it hehe. Which is ludicrous, seeing as it's so shiny and all round gorram amazing

    (Original post by Laertes)
He hasn't watched Firely!? You know if he refuses, you have to dump him, right?
Inorite! I had threatened him with that before, but he didn't quite take me seriously. He's lucky he started watching tonight, he doesn't know how close he came :p: And good news! We watched the pilot tonight and he actualyl conceded that it was really good, and is looking forward to watching more next time I'm round

Tapas  So much love. Haven't had it in aaaages. I might get my mum to make some next time I visit. Not quite the same as a tapas bar, but she is good hehe

Ohhhh... There's an element song!? ;D
Oh yes, as Dan posted ^^ Seeing as you're a biologist (and are therefore way cool) you may also enjoy some of these:
    Spoiler:
    Show
    Regulatin' Genes (about developmental genetics):

Put some Ach into it (about the parasympathetic and sympathetic control systems):

    Synaptic Cleft (self explanatory):

BioRad's PCR Song (from an advert):

Lab Romance (laboratory based parody of GaGa's Bad Romance):

Obviously others are welcome to view those vids hehe, some may find them entertaining and educational :p:

Also, here's an awesome science video with Carl Sagan feat. Steven Hawkings - A Glorious Dawn:

And any Linux fans will enjoy this :p:

Why do all drinks websites feel the need to be so majorly Flash-based? Yes, you have nice graphics. No, you don't need to take ten times as long to load and then play music automatically.

Yeah, it was quite amusing. I've read History Boys, although still haven't seen the play/film.

Dude, that's not news, that's called a natural progression of events. Or, as I like to say, "duh!" :teehee:

But the film has Dominic Cooper in! You HAVE to watch it!

Speaking of hot films, has anyone seen Shortbus? It has some AWESOME sex scenes in it. I strongly recommend it.

I think someone mentionet Shortbus on this thread some time ago, so I watched it and it was cool!

On a different note: I have been messaging this girl for over a month now and she said she generally goes for older women (well, all the girls she liked were older than her). Then she wrote, "But you're younger than me/I'm older than you" [I told her I like older women). I can't decipher that. Help please?

I think that's a positive reply. Not 100% sure though.

I saw Shortbus ages ago; I should point out that despite lots and lots of explicit sex, it is also an intelligent emotional film.
