At the end of the day, if you tell your commanding officer you're homosexual then you will be discharged. How that can still be the case in this day and age is mind-boggling.

Sometimes I think of all the homophobia still present in society and I wonder how I manage to be such a happy person* :moon:

*Then I remember sex and booze.

Be happy because you live in a country which isn't quite as stupid, and because the countries which are seem to be getting better rather than worse. :yep:
Really? The radicalisation and militarisation of Islamic countries, the high profile homophobia of central african christian countries, the waning support for Obama in America and the rise of the Palin-esque far right? Things are getting worse in a lot of places. Even Australia runs the risk of letting the tory right back in to power to replace the homophobic laws the Labour party (mostly) got rid of.

The only reason we're making ground is because we had 13 years of centre-left rule, and the right had to make concessions because they were branded as the nasty party. Elsewhere in the world (outside of Western Europe), 13 years of leftist rule is incredibly rare. Plus that and we're not heavily influenced by a religion, again like Western Europe.

I'm ignoring South America because although they're socialist and therefore tend to be nice about stuff like this, they have massive problems in other areas

We're one of the worst in Europe. One of the largest debts in Europe, had a 25% devaluation of our currency during Brown, a "throwing money at problems in the hope of solving them" attitude, an extremely too large government ....

    Nothing great about us tbh.

On a different note: computers are evil. I have four partitions on my harddrive. One for the OS, games, music and other stuff. Suddenly two of them were missing: music and other stuff. Tried Testdisk first, then rebooted. All right.. music and other stuff are back again.
    Now games is missing. :lolwut:

    Mhm.. :hmmmm:

    *shudder*

I'm a greedy selfish ******* at heart, so I should be a tory. But morally I'm closest to Labour. (And that goes beyond just economics; I still fail to understand why any gay person would want that merry band of homophobic troglodytes currently in the tory party to run the country). I used to be on the borderline between Labour and Libdem, but I wouldn't vote for them again while Clegg, Cable and Alexander are there. There's no way in hell I'd do that, even in a LibDem/Tory marginal.

Maybe some things work better when not combined :yep:

One following another works well for me. I wonder though, is it taking a sex break from drinking wine or taking a wine break from having sex?

Ah the great unanswered questions of life :holmes:

I always forget how much I love G&Ts until I drink them. So good.

Why do conversations I have with people always end up involving sex and alcohol :emo:
