You got in nice and early! :P
Well, I had one of the shortest journeys. Certain people were ID-less (and others had to go back to Cambridge), so we couldn't go out that late.

Typical, I feel fine today. If I'm going to miss things because I'm ill I want to get my money's worth (so to speak). . Hope you all had fun at the meet.

We had empty chairs at Pizza Express for everyone who couldn't come to the meet. We ordered you pizza, and ate it. You owe us £8.35. :yep:

Seriously, it was a very good meet.

Gesar arrived the first and I met him, and gangstermidget, and we then waited for everyone else who then arrived pretty much on time, except Crisps :p: who was a bit late. We then walked around Leicester Sq trying to find somewhere cheap & able to accommodate 7 people (and Beige_Angel's suitcase ) ... we then (somehow??) worked our way to Soho and found a Pizza Express. Beige_Angel tried to chat up the waitress with her *cough* French ... while C2H5OH flapped his hands looking at the menu realising it was comprised of pizzas ... I choose to have the Chicken Cesar Salad which was a little disappointing. Gesar was testing resonance and damping on wine glasses at the table, determined to do something scientific at the meet (we also had a minute silence to the absent members we all wanted to meet ).

Soon we found ourselves walking around Soho trying to find somewhere nice to drink and socialise, whilst, I suspect, dbmag9 was trying to find a hairdressers. I, of course, suggested the perfect location of the "Duke of Argyll" which turned out to be be rather nice (and as Gesar pointed out, cheaper than Cambridge) ... we then entered a discourse of atheism and Gesar (as you'd expect) talked about naked guys and everyone admitted to actually liking Daniel Radcliffe (:suith:) ... C2H5OH had to promptly leave to meet a friend (a potential **** buddy) and found out he was cancelled by this supposed friend and had to come crawling back to reclaim his seat ... while Beige_Angel & gangstermidget made frequent visits outside to the toilets ... and all along Crisps was babbling in some foreign accent. I had some pleasant white wine and Gesar had a pint (and still talked about naked guys :blah: and his Evangelical hall-mate and how he is going to rape him one day). Beige_Angel tried to explain gender and queer theory to us, and we concurred that C2H5OH was actually TinTin who resembled a librarian we all know. Beige_Angel also expressed a preference to her other internet friends :emo:

We then decided to have a bite at McDonalds at which point C2H5OH flapped his hands in homosexual dismay at the place and after having done that, we wanted to go somewhere else and I offered a fantastic suggestion of going to the Hayward Gallery at Waterloo. We made it to the Gallery, had more chats (and the topic of how to pronounce "Laertes" came up :hmmm:) and got free cakes (at which a heated discussion erupted over carrot cakes ... *cough* Crisps). We went to Waterloo and engaged in hugs and grobes of goodbye.

    Lay - Ur - Tees

Yes, I realise the Greeks didn't intend for me to butcher the language to that pronunciation but that's what it is.

The next one's going to be in Manchester though, meaning you'll have to travel back up North.

I only mentioned nudity twice! Once in reference to Radcliffe, and once because there was an advert with a hot guy on it
