    Check out this site:

    http://www.power2010.org.uk/home/

You can vote for the five reforms you want to see to politics in England

    Ideas include:
    - Proportional voting system
    - A written constituion
    - Scrap ID Cards
    - Fully elected house of lords
    - Voting on weekends not Thursdays
    - Fixed term parliaments
    - None of the above on ballot papers

and many more (think there's about 20 ish?)

Just thought some of you might be interested in it, seems like it could do some could. It's already drummed up quite a lot of interest and the five with the most votes will form part of the Power 2010 pledge to bring about some change to how our democracy works in the UK, especially with the general election coming up.

What would you vote for? Will you vote at all?

EDIT: You CAN actually vote for as many as you want soz, it's just that they will only pick five at the end.

The only good thing they want is the scrapping of ID cards

No to all apart from scrapping ID cards, which is probably going to happen anyway.

It's *all* about small government and localism.

I support them all apart from the written consitution one. I'm very unsure on proportional representation though...

    - Stronger Local Government
But why? They do so badly with the amount of power they have...
