    Hey guys

I'm considering studying at St.gallen next year for my masters degree. But I can't decide between the SIM (Strategies and International Management) and the MBF (Masters of Banking and Finance) course.

Both are the flagships of that uni and very renowned from what I've heard and read.

I wonder if there's anyone here who can tell me something about the SIM?

SIM -> If you want to work in consulting.
MBF -> If you want to work in banking.
QE/F-> For a highly quantitative finance role.
MIA -> For EU, diplomatic... and all those suck-**** careers.

MBF is sponsored by UBS and Credit Suisse, whether for SIM it's McKinsey & Co. and Deloitte. This should give you a good idea of the focus of each programme.

SIM takes less students than MBF... something between 30 and 40, so it is probably harder to get in.
Both have double-degrees with ESADE, HEC Paris, Bocconi, etc., but SIM allows you to gain an MBA at Nanyang Business School in Singapore.

    More females in SIM.

MBF >> SIM, at least for investment banking and consultancy.
