Hi, I'm just wondering whether I stand any chance since my degree is not in anything quantitative or related to finance/economics (I am doing politics.) I have a high GMAT score but no quantitative background at all throughout university. Thanks!

    Question

I just saw a seemingly bizarre statistic here about the Oxford Math Finance program:

    http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/postg...l_finance.html

    Number of applicants

    2012/13

    31

    Number of places available

    2013/14

    30

Do they really mean that everyone who applied except one got in?

To tinyviper, I'm in a similar situation to yourself. I'm applying after having done a non quantitative degree (Bachelor of Laws) although I do have a high GMAT score (770). I don't know specifically about Oxford, but I do know that both IE and HEC, which are of similar reputation in Europe, take a few humanities students. So I definitely think it's worth a shot!
