    Hi there,
I've made my mind up on 3 out of 4 of my A-levels (English Lit, History and Sociology). However, I'm totally stuck on the last choice!

At GCSE i've taken all the Core subjects, ICT (already completed), French, Drama, Geography and R.E, with A*-A predictions.

I'm hoping to take an English-based or possibly History or Russian/East European Studies at uni - (but the last 2, at the uni's i've looked at, do not require a language A-level)

My only options left (out of my subject blocks) are..
    • Media Studies (I'm really considering this, but apparently universities don't respect it?)
    • Applied ICT
    • Economics
    • Business Studies
    • Psychology
    • Biology
    • Law

Any help would be appreciated! thanks x

English goes well with other Arts subjects liek History (which you've got), Psychology, Media Studies and Law.
    Sociology goes well with Psychology.

But aside that, have a look at the specifications of the ones you're considering - you can find them on the exam board websites The ones you enjoy are the ones you should choose!

I'd go for either psychology, business studies or economics They're all quite good to do, and very interesting.

Quite alot of people I know ended up doing psychology at A level. They found it interesting as it is something new to what you have studied in school.

Personally I would go for business studies as it seems to be the most useful one out of the list. Thats just in my opinion though! You have to study something that you know you will enjoy, otherwise it is a waste of time!

Psychology would complement all your other choices really well, but Biology would add variety so you're not writing essays all the time! I'd say it's a case of what you like though; if you're okay with four essay subjects that's fine, a science is good if you're into sciences and think a different subject would be good for you.

Thanks everyone! My subject choices deadline is tomorrow (but I always have a chance to change come results day) and I think I'll go with Biology as I enjoy it at the moment and it keeps my options open thanks again for your help x
