This is seriously starting to become a problem now. I just finished my GCSE mocks and managed to revise fairly well for them. Yet now they're over and I'm having a lot of trouble just getting back into the general swing of getting day-to-day homework and coursework done. I've just wasted away the whole evening for example playing crappy online games, whilst my parents think I've been doing my homework.

    Help!

Drat! I'm 15 so can't even legally do anything about that. Plus I'm at an all-girls' school.

give yourself an allotted few hours a week to mess about doing nothing useful - like playing online games - but then, ensure that when you are not in the mess about time, you're doing work.

Think about it like a reward scheme that you set up for yourself - 2 hours work/study earns you 30 min or an hour messing about playing online games.... it won't necessarily work, but its worth a go

Lock up your computer, or just force yourself to do your work first.

    Lists.
Lists are always helpful! Jot a few things down that you need to do, and then when they're all ticked off for the week, you can do what ever you please.
