Uh... I've been lazy and hiding away from the coursework. It's silly since I was thinking about the difference between a 2.1 and 1st... Now it's more like 3rd/2.2 in that particular module.

Hand it in? You're lucky, if our coursework isn't handed in by 10 Monday morning it gets capped at 40% and if you hand it in after 10 am Tuesday morning you get zero.

    Unfortunately none.

This is just my bad habit of hiding away from problems, rather than dealing with them.

Could you not just claim some mitigating circumstances? My grandfather died last year and i got a medical note for that just by going to the doctor and telling him it happened. They didn't ask for any proof or anything. I got extensions to all my work as a result. This could work for you if you are comfortable with making something like that up.

I don't want to sound cruel here but maybe just accept that you've been lazy, concede that you won't get a good grade, learn your lesson and do your work on time next deadline.

If they call your bluff on it and ask for evidence, it could be considered an academic offence when they find out you were lying. That would be very bad.

How is doing nursing not being adult?

As for the original post...your own dam fault, everyone else handed it in, so should you. If you have no extenuating circumstances you should learn from this and move on.

 Most people are lazy and can never be arsed doing coursework, yet 9.9/10 people will still get there's in on time.

And if they haven't they won't make a thread on TSR complainin about it :p:

Just accept you've not done it in time, do it ASAP and learn your lesson for the other modules.

With the risk of sounding like a teacher if you can't motivate yourself to finish an essay then questions need to be asked about if you really want to do it or not?

not really. if he can't be botherd to do a piece of courswork, then he needs to sort his priorities out and start being responsible for his own education

and mate..do you really think nursing is as easy a sitting watching a film? cause..that blood transfusion i had to deal with, and patient who had an MI today must have been SO easy..
