We'll probably not get as many people joining this group, coz not a lot of people do physics... and the ones that do it are applying for physics degree so are pros at it.

It went okay for me from the start...then when i see the stallite question, i couldn't believe i didn't realize M is mass of Earth (i was thinking mass of stallite)in the equation V=GM/r. Then i couldnt do the rest of the question...

    I lost about 20 marks overall...great, C

What i found most hard was the multiple chocie one about momentum and the long answer transformers one. I also didnt finish the question about proving it would cost 4 quid or something cos i ran outa time. I finished the multiple choice with like 10 minutes to spare but i got real bogged down in the middle, i got kinda paranoid triple checking some answers as i went along.. Hope Hope Hope it was an A

HAHAHAHAHA I'VE FAILED SO BADLY. But, definitely got 8 marks for the written answers. And that'd be all.

Resit for shua. But, boy, is this going to amusing come March.:rofl::rofl:

It'll teach me to revise next time.

I thought the exam went alright. The multiple choice was harder then I expected but I think i got most of them right. Did anyone get £3.78 for the transformers one?

    Yeah tricky paper.

Some of the questions I remember:
Length of Pendulum: 1.95 or 1.98 or something

Used Mgh to work out her max kinetic energy

For the acceleration of the planet B i just used g = F/m as a=g

For the 6 marker I really screwed it up. I talked about back Emf, laminating the core, reducing the current to reduce heat loss.

for the prove it was 4£ I got something like 378pennies
Advantage of turning pc off, cheaper
Disadvantage: takes time to boot up

KE graph looked like a pair of boobs for swinging girl

    Capacitors time stayed the same
21.7 as my time constant, for some reason i put units as omega farads

    potential questions
Double one of them and the other stayed to same

and multiple choice was rushed and I personally found it tricky

General consensus from my school was fairly tricky but not too bad.
