Well I'm back doing a part time degree now so this time round my priorities are:

    1) passing exams obviously will be the main one!
    2) trying not to spend too much money
    3) keeping my job (fulltime position kept for me for summer - for once I've fallen on my feet lol)
    4) trying to get experience... this is the major one, it has proven impossible so far
    5) applying for jobs/internships/experience for the summer

    Long term:
    1) get a good degree at the end of everything
    2) come out of uni with a job offer or an offer to do a PhD
    3) make loads of great friends
    4) enjoy my musical activites and improve my instrument playing.

    In the short term:
    1) revise for my ******* exams on wednesday and thursday
    2) after that, get horridly drunk
    3) leaving southampton to visit friends
    4) come back and start semester 2 making sure that i write up my notes after lectures!

I find the induction of alcohol-fueled room mates into your plans tends to have an impact.

    1) High GPA
    2) Happiness
    3) Job hunting and internships

The first two are basically in direct opposition of each other, so things are interesting.
