    I lived in Broadgate last year in a single study and just wondered what they had done to the blocks to refurbish them. How do they fit 7 people in? Are the kitchens and bathrooms new? And just generally what's it like now?

    WOAHHH jammmm - a friend of mine has a single study room & shares her kitchen & bathroom with 4 others so there's 5 of them. but they were the 'ghetto blocks' they'll all be gone by the time 2010 freshers get them. Now if you haven't apllied for an ensuite there are 7 of you sharing a kitchen and TWO bathrooms. So that's two toilets and two showers for 7 people in the new buildings. Sounds pretty cool to me & even with the 'ghetto blocks' although i weren't a student there, i stayed over quite a lot & the whole sharing was no problem & even my friend she had no problems with the block she was living in. But I guess each to their own ...
