I'm on a moohoossive itunes hunt tonight after realising I have an embarassing 57 songs on my ipod! :p:

So could you please rank your top 5 artists? I'm into more accoustic, calmer songs with mostly just the voice, but anything will be appreciated really!

    Cheeeers

    1. Thin Lizzy
    2. See number 1

*Though the large, large majority of their songs won't suit your description...

    Visions of Atlantis
    Nightwish
    Lunatica

Though Within Temptation is probably the only one with much that does what you want.

If you want stripped down music, stuff like Emmy the Great, Laura Marling would be a good place to start.
