Solve with logs.

x dist Bin(6,0.12)

Calculate P(X=2)

Multiply by 0.12.

Wins on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd selection.

3*1/20 = 3/20

or

1 - 19/20*18/19*17/18 = 3/20

Wins on 3 = 1/20
Loses on 3 = 17/20
Takes 3 = 18/20 = 9/10

E = 1*1/20+2*1/20+3*9/10 = 2.85
