    ROFL.

You will NOT get into trouble for booze and condoms. I strongly recommend taking both. Also - your SU will probably give out masses of condoms. I'm a welfare person on my SU and I have literally hundreds of the things in my house.

Usually things like kettle, mini-fridges and toasters are not allowed but your university should issue guidelines before you go.
    That's good to know, thanks

haha, I blame the few years I spent at private school where things like non-regulation belts and unusual haircuts could get you suspended.

I shall bear that one in mind when I go cookbook-shopping.
It needs to be idiot-proof though. I can't fry an egg, I'll never be married if I carry on in this way I learnt what 'al dente' meant yesterday.
Well it does teach you how to fry an egg, and I know very few people who have ever managed to cook me anything approaching 'al dente', so you're on the right track!

I will be taking tat. And stuff. Loads of tat and stuff and clutter.
I can't stand bare walls or bare surfaces! Clutter is essential!
And cider. Lots of cider. Probably the laptop too. Can't say I've thought much beyond that.
lol at the clutter, I'm the same...stationary, books, pics, pot plants, loads and loads of cushions... you name it I'm taking it ahaha.

Have absolutely no intention of taking a tv though. I do NOT need any more tools for wasting time.

Yes at last someone who took a comuter. do you think your disadvantaged in anyway in comparison to someone who took a laptop (apart from the obvious portability)? i REALY want to take my gaming rig but not sure if its a good idea...
    I'm awesome because I have both :p:

Although my laptop is semi-bust at the moment. Nothing Ebay and a screwdriver won't fix.

My laptop has one advantage, it -is- a gaming rig, Alienware is awesome. How about you put some money aside and buy yourself an M15x or something? There's a special discount a credit for students! :awesome:

'Al dente' was on the back of a packet of pasta - it means firm but mushy, but not too firm, bit of chew to it, but not too mushy so it's just mush. Basically, how to cook plain pasta. I am learning

I'm tired of people thinking that i'm gay because i can cook... I once cooked for a bunch of girls and then they said, "You're cute, too bad you're gay"

    Was kind of thinking this...
    Laptop
    Clothes
    Shoes
    Books and textbooks
    Make-up
    DSLR
    Some food
Pjs and slippers (as I live in them most of the time)
    Some alcohol.

I think that's all I really need... Hm.

Blow up matress. (No idea why that's top of my list, just popped in my head)
Lots of boxes (am a very disorganised person, I need boxes to organise stuff and not end up living knee deep in files ect)
New radio alarm (should I raise the funds to purchase one).
    Extra cwtchy blankets.
    Pukka Pads, love 'em.

Thats the boring stuff out the way.

    Also:
LOTS OF ALCOHOL. Particularly ciderrr. Particularly Orchard Gold ciderrrrr.
    Pack of cards.
    Cluedo, for drunken Cluedo games
