    Mods do NOT add value to a car in nearly all cases. Unless you are lucky enough to find a buyer who likes the mods you have done and are prepared to pay more for it, which is highly unlikely. To answer though, do what you think is right given the advice from here and what others may have said, often modding a car doesn't make financial sense, but does emotionally, thats why I did it despite what others told me.

    Or buy a car with most of the serious mods done and let the previous owner lose the money and do the finishing touches yourself to get it on the road and give you a sense of achievement. A much more economical way of doing it than doing everything yourself unless it's a labour of love (and let us all be honest here, would you really be proud to admit that a 306 was your labour of love?).

    seats (depends on what car i get if ill put em in or not), steering wheel and alloys (got them WELLLLLL cheap down the scrapyard and almost in mint condition ).
