Did 5B again. Pretty ok, didn't really know what they wanted for the comparing ladybirds Q or the llama digestion?! Any ideas? Aaand forgot the name for nitrifying bacteria =S

The grade boundaries were pretty low last year http://www.edexcel.com/iwantto/I%20w...0Home-Intl.pdf
Seem to be fairly similar for the last few years.
    About 60% for A, 55% for B, 50% for a C etc.

no you dont make up data you just formulate an appropriate table . the marks are for relevant columns eg. you might do 3 columns for repeats aswell as percentage change etc/ it depends on the scenario they give you

I basically re-wrote what I learnt by heart for digestion in cows in AS level. Mutualistic relationship with micoorganisms in their rumen to digest cellulose etc.

Also, I put Nitrosomonas as the bacteria.

Unit 4 was diffenitely easier than Jan 2009 but 5B was just...meh. I've always hated 5B, it's just so awkward!

u dont really need to choose any tests. is this for part b on question 2?

but t test is used for comparing means, man whitney test used for medians

its mainly t test tho because most data will be converted to means

im soo confused about this paper!
