Quick chem question about Kp

SO2 and O2 were mixed in a 2:1 mol ratio and sealed in a flask with a catalyst. Follwing equilibrium was esablished at temp t1

2(SO2) +O2 <===> 2SO3

partial pressure of SO2 in equilibrium mix was 24 KPa and total pressure in flask was 104KPa

1.) deduce partial pressure of oxgen and calculate its mole fraction in equilibrium mixture

Ok i get that cos theyr in a 2:1 ratio the pp of o2 is 12...then the mole fraction = pp/total pressure 12/104 = 0.115

2.)Calculate the partial pressure of SO3 in the equilibrium mixture?

I have no idea. :s-smilie:
Partial pressure of SO3 = Total pressure - O2 partial pressure- SO2 partial pressure
EierVonSatan
Partial pressure of SO3 = Total pressure - O2 partial pressure- SO2 partial pressure

where have you been all my life?
