    Wat is a rep people say to me do 2 reps? thats great if i actually know at a rep is and wat does it mean when someone says to

    2 x 5 squats?
    or 6 x 7 pushups?

    Repetitions. I would imagine one of those number is a "set". Which is a group of repetitions.

    I could pick up a weight, and lift it 5 times. That would be five reps. I then go sit in the corner and look sweaty for 10 minutes, return and pick up the weight again and do 5 reps of it. That would be 2 x 5.

    2 reps of squats would be doing two squats, 2 reps of press ups would be 2 press ups. simple as that, its just how many times you repeat the movement

    reps.. repitition.. if i were to do 1 sit up.. thats 1 rep

    1 push up- 1 rep

    1 complete movement thats all

    e.g. jumping up in the air once.. 1 rep of jumping

    And the rep is the number of times the action is done without a rest

    if you can only lift a weight five times before having a rest then it must be really heavy then?

    You don't do press ups to get a "good" chest.

    You need to read the sticky and get in a gym, you're not going to achieve anything worthwhile with your 6kg.
