# Equating Coefficients watch

1. I was away for this Maths Lesson, and this question has cropped up. I can't find anywhere on the internet that tells me how to Equate Coefficients, so I need some help. =)

Given that. (2+x)^5 + (2-x)^5 (triple equals sign?) A+ Bx^2+Cx^4

Find the values of the constants A, B, and C.

What do I do?
2. Expand the brackets using the binomial expansion.

The odd powers will cancel out, leaving you only the even powers.

The coefficients will be the values you need for A B C
