MSci Medical Genetics to Genetic counselling? watch

    • Thread Starter

Could an MSci degree in Medical Genetics (from a university like Sheffield, for example) lead/help to a career in Genetic counselling, or would one have to study a special MSci programme in Genetic counselling? What about an MSci in Biochemistry and Genetics? Also, what is the basic salary for a genetic counsellor?

Thank you in advance and all the best !

Just thought I might bump this thread as I've been wondering the same question.

Could MSci Medical Genetics lead to a career of a Genetic Counsellor or would one have to specifically study the MSci Genetic Counselling programme??
