I be travelling to Slovenia and Croatia this summer (and France, Italy and Swizterland) and I was wondering if anyone can give any quick advice about vaccines I may need for any of these countries. I won't be staying particulary long, 1 day in Slovenia and 2-3 days in Croatia, but I'd rather be safe then sorry, and I'm pretty sure my travel insurance requires me to have all necessary vaccines.

    Thanks

I went to Croatia for two weeks last summer, and didn't need any vaccinations.
Aslong as you are up to date on the usual ones that everyone gets eg MMR then you will be top notch.

Don't quote me on this but I think you need the Kalashnikov vaccine. Check it with your doctor anyway.

Yuppie is absolutely right: the Kalashnikov virus is the only disease, the i'm aware of, that you'll need a vaccine for. It's not deadly but with all the stale water/marshland in both these countries you could easily lose a limb.
