    wh whu-whah?

LOL you're one bipolar character man, I find it really cool that you like the bands you like, and from that you go and generalise me and talk about guys and band t shirts? (I'm guessing it's a reference to my profile pic?).
How can you generalise or sterotpye a human that wears a band t shirt lol seriously wtf? All it means is they really like that band and bought their merch...
Or it could be that you think I'm the typical metalhead which I'm not...
But yeah, cool bands, shizzy attitude.
No, you moron. I never checked your profile pic. I was referring to the fact that you were instantly assuming that because you liked the same bands as somebody that it was likely that you would form an *instant friendship* with them.

This is why I do not wear band t-shirts... because when I do, random people in the street see the bands I like, realise that they like the same band, and assume that we're going to be best buddies from now on, just like you just did on TSR.

    • Frank Turner
    • Streetlight Manifesto
    • Rolling Stones

1 The Doors (with Jim Morrison of course. Out of all my choices this is the one that could not be left off).
    2 Lynryd Skynryd
    3 The Byrds
    4 Spin Doctors
    5 Simon & Garfunkel
6 The Beatles (but only if they include all their stuff - they stopped touring in 1966).
7 Pink Floyd - as long as Syd Barrett is included.
8 Kate Bush and her band of various people over the years - has only ever done 1 tour. Unfortunately, as a result it could be just a 'best of' set rather than including some of her quirkier, atmospheric, songs. Would still be a rare treat to see regardless.
    9. The Kinks - with a warm summer's day and picnic.
    10. Meatloaf (and, um, band)

Of bands that I would have included, I've already seen R.E.M. and Radiohead.
I've seen Oasis but wouldn't consider them as they don't play many songs from Be Here Now.
I have seen Roger McGuinn, formerly of The Byrds though - gentleman, modest considering his band practically invented some genres.
Left out The Stone Roses because I think that, even in their peak, the studio production helped them a lot. Good songs on the albums though, like Elephant Stone, Mersey Paradise, Song for my sugar spun sister, What the world is waiting for , Driving South and Your star will shine. But you can pick out some of their influences in many songs from my list above.

Would also consider Pulp , The Smiths, The Verve , Huey Lewis & The News , Simply Red , Blur , The White Stripes and David Bowie (if he did all his songs from Labyrinth he would be a firm in my top 10).
I'd have loved to see Marvin Gaye (at the time of when he released Sexual Healing) but I only know a few of his songs.
