Apologies if someone has already asked this, but I am massively confused by the application for student finance!

If we are currently an undergraduate, are we a new applicant or a current applicant, and do we need to login with our current login, or start a new one?!

Is it just me, or is the whole of direct.gov really confusing with regard to this?!

Student Finance class you as a new student, as you are starting a new course and will need to send your parents financial evidence should you be classed as dependent. However, you still need to use your old login details, and just click on apply for 2010/2011.

Easier still is to print the PN1 form - a complete application form for 2010/2011 for new students. This has the ITT option under course type, whereas an error on the online application currently means it is not there!

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, you're an absolute star! Think I'll go with the printing option then!

Should we already be applying for student finance? Can anyone advise me when the cut off is? xx
