Hey I had an Unconditional Offer from my Uni of choice, I gave them a 'Firm acceptance' and I thought that was that. However I've also had a letter from UCAS saying much the same thing, but it says I must email someone in the department (I'm guessing an admissions tutor) ''to confirm whether or not you intend to take up this place. Within this email you must include your:

    Full name
    Personal ID
    Course code
    Campus Code (if applicable)
Reason for withdrawing, if you do not want to take up the offer of a place''

It then goes on to say that ''if I do not confirm that I intend to take up this place within 14 days, the place may be offered to another applicant''

??? Do I have to do this as well? I thought issuing a firm acceptance through UCAS track was more than enough?

You do need to do this. Usually this happens much later after results day, but since you already have your results it happens now.
