Ok i am wondering about my 4th As choice.

Currently ive got maths further maths and physics.

I was thinking of doing media but have been advised if anything it will affect my chances of a good uni (was looking at cambridge).

So i was thinking, are these following choices are pointless.

    Sociology.
    Film.
    Physcology.
    Science in society.
    Media.
    ?

i'm not sure if any of those subjects would be worthy of cambridge standards haha!
    maybe phsycology?
i know a few people who have taken sociology and find it interesting, but i also know it can be seen as a 'grade lower' than some subjects

ermm...as an ex-media and graphics student i know pretty much how unis view that type of thing...not well.
Phsycology is an alright one though, not a favourite of unis but not looked down upon. i didnt realise many colleges did it at all =/ unless you meant psychology?

I would seriously recommend either chemistry or english though. chemisty goes pretty well with the subjects youve chosen so far, while english is generally looked at very favourably.

All the possible subjects you've mentioned are regarded as 'soft' by the likes of Cambridge and LSE.
Your other choices are good though, what were you hoping to study?

    omg everyone. seriously it's p s y c h o l o g y
To be honest, i don't think any of those are really that great choices (for cambridge anyways)
They prefer more traditional subjects. I'd say that psychology is okayish Perhaps something like chemistry, biology, history etc. Even economics... depending on what you want to do

What do you plan on doing at uni?

Cause frankly all those are looked down upon by top unis and are practically in the same league as media studies...

None of the ones you mentioned.
How about an english, a language, or another science?

an Arts subject generally looks good on a uni application if you're doing sciences. I'd reccommend AS English Lit. as it's not much of a step up from GCSE. Get out before A2 though, it's AWFUL :O
I hear History is meant to be real good also
