Ok today I think I might have accidentally been caught on camera in a bus lane.

I was driving through a part of town I didn't know, coming up to a roundabout ahead there was clearly a bus lane on the left and a normal lane on the right, but I never managed to see a sign stating if it was active, but stayed out as everyone else was, and it was 9:40ish

As I got very near the roundabout where I needed to go left, everyone else went into the left lane to also go left, I obviously did this then realised I was still in the bus lane. I also say a camera that looked like a gatso (stick with a yellow stripey box on top), facing at what would be the back of my car. Do you think this would have been caught?

What is the fine? Can you appeal on the basis that there were no visible signs that said the hours of operation, and it ended ridiculously close to the roundabout>

Sorry to double post so quick. I found on google street view the lane, the end isn't as close to the roundabout as I thought, and there are signs (basically I was beind retarded). Anyway they say it ends at 9:30, I think is was there anywhere from 9:20 to 9:40 but probably the later half, if it is like 9:29 can they fine you?
