In the IPP, I have chosen to do Option A: Devising Practice. For this option, it said that I must be a director or a theatre maker and "make up" a performance of my choice. Well for this, I am devising a scene from the play, Road by Jim Cartwright, while applying both Cruel and Epic Theatrical techniques and style for my very own rendition.
My question is: Does this mean that I have to write about ALL the aspects of theatre making (lighting, sound effects, set design, make up, costumes etc.) I have implemented for this scene? [Yes, I am incorporating both theory and research.]
Thank you very much for your time. Hope I get some responses asap!
Have a good day.

no this does not mean you have to write about them all. you're actually not supposed to, instead you should focus on one aspect of devising theatre.
for example, i am just finishing up my IPP (due wednesday!) and I was the director of my show. I worked with 2 other people, my friend was our designer and the other was just solely an actor. all three of us acted, its just that i also took on the role of directing and my friend also was the designer.
You need to decide what role you're taking on. "lighting, sound effects, set design, make up, costumes" can be many different roles such as the show's technician or the show's stage designer. you should not branch out and talk about other aspects, it would be a good thing to mention them a little bit but stay focused on one aspect of theatre.
i hope i helped!
