Generally what you don't know 24 hours before the exam you're never gonna.. And if you do; like 2 things will probably stick in you're head and you'll be even worse.
Rubbish! ive very rarely ever revised with over 24hrs to go, i trust me i learnt a lot of things in those 24hrs. Including resit exams that i had not done for months

Ha I do this all the time! Did it today before my physics exam. I have a good short term memory and I remembered most of the stuff I'd just revised. let's see if it worked on March 11th...

haha, consider yourself lucky. revising tends to suck full stop anyway.

umm my revision for the morning exams started at 5am in the morning. im under pressure and thats when i retain more information. i do the same for coursework - eg at the very last minute. works for me, but i really wouldn't recommend it, it's better to be WELL prepared ....

I have a very short term memory so I only manage to revise the day before or so. However, I do understand all the topics covered beforehand when we do them in class so the last min revision is just to remember them. Also there's slight pressure on you the couple of hours before an exam and I find that this is enough to make me revise effectively rather than procrastinating. But make sure you stay calm and collected.

I find it unsettling. If I unearth things I'm not sure about, it makes me nervous going into the exam and I tend to underperform. I'd only look at revision if I was confident and if I was confident I wouldn't need to look. So, I don't, as a rule.
But it does depend on who you are and how you learn.
I stop the night before and have a good long sleep. I find I retain it better than an all nighter.

Four hours is plenty of time.

    Relax.

In fact, go down to the pub and have a couple of drinks.

Anythings possible, but there again revising at such short notice could be disasterous!!!
