Hey guys, can I see some pictures of the accommodation somewhere? There're few on the web site but I really like to have a look on some more.
    Thanks

Personally I prefer Pentre Jane Morgan.

I have written a review on my blog and included some pics of my room.

Hi. I'm from Bulgaria and since there are a lot of bulgarians in Aber, I have the opportunity to visit virtually all accommodations. From my personal experiance I can say that PJM is the best one. Several reasons for that: small houses-not a lot of neighbours, relatively big kitchens-and quite modern too!, great bathrooms, relatively big rooms. And last, but also quite importatnt-if you are about to have a ''home party'' in the campus, PJM is the best choice- you don't have many neighbours, and the PJM is situateted ot a very large area, so te stewards are less likely to come and kill the party. This was from me for now.

There's some very good reasoning behind this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to point a few things out.

Small houses - yeah, that's pretty good, but when it comes to who you live with it's luck of the draw. In flats and stuff it's easy to avoid people, but in houses of six it's a bit harder. I'm lucky because I like my housemates, but one of my friends who also lives in PJM moved last month because she didn't.

Relatively big rooms - Not if you're in Room B. I've got the smallest room in the house. I can cross it from wall to window in three steps. Also, my view is of a wall and a bush.

As for house parties, PJM is supposed to be the 'quiet' residence. There are a lot of third years here, all trying to study in peace, and they can't do that if someone three houses away is partying until stupid o'clock in the morning.

I like PJM, I really do, but I don't know if I'd recommend it to other people.

Personally I prefer halls (PJM)... I lived in town in my second year, and although some elements of it are better such as costs... some places are a mess!

I have included photos of PJM from my first year (last year) and included lots of photos of private sector accom too:
