I've been with him for about 3 months and we're really in love. Whenever I'm with him I'm happy and he's told me he can't imagine me crying. But what if I just want to cry on his shoulder? Like today, I just feel really emotional for no reason and all I want is for him to hold me but I feel weird calling him because he's never seen me like this. I guess I'm just wondering about other people's relationships and the range of emotions you reveal to your boyfriend/girlfriend. I want to go to him because I know being with him will make me feel better, but will he think I'm crazy for crying for no reason?

You can't just decide to hide one part of yourself from your boyfriend, it doesn't work like that.

I sometimes cry in front of my boyfriend. Often for no reason. I worry it makes him think badly of me or that I am using him for a wet blanket.. but I do only do this quite rarely :p: so hopefully it's okay.

It helps me. Like I said I worry that it's not so good for him.. so I try not to But for me, it builds the relationship, and it builds trust. He's the only person I really reveal my emotions to; and this reflects the special position in my life that he has.

Seeing my girlfriend upset is never a happy experience but i'm glad she feels she can come to me and also that i'm able to help in some way. I'd much rather help my gf through something, however trivial, than have her deal with it herself in private or bottle up only to come out later on.
